Egypt 2010 Update
By Geoffrey Hoppe
A
Life-Changing Experience
The “Back to Egypt” Shaumbra tour earlier
this year was without a doubt one of the most life-changing
events in my life. Growing up in the conservative Midwestern
United States I never imagined that some day I would
be toning in the King’s Chamber of the Great Pyramid
with friends from around the world. Nor could I image
that I would be floating down the Nile, visiting ancients
sites dating back more than 5000 years, walking the
sacred pathways in Luxor or staying in one of the world’s
finest hotels across the street from the pyramids in
Cairo. And I never would have imagined that the tour
to Egypt would bring back memories from lifetimes past.
All
of these things were just a part of the experience during
our tour in Febraury this year. But the experience that
most deeply touched me is the very thing that is most
difficult to write about. Something changed deep within.
The experiences of the pyramids and ancient temples
and channelings with Adamus, Kuthumi and Tobias simply
helped to reveal this inner mystery.
For
lack of better words, I came away from our ten days
in Egypt with a “spiritual maturity.” I’m
not talking about seeing colors and having interdimensional
experiences (which I did to an extent), but rather a
very quiet and profound “settling of the waters.”
There was something inside me that was unresolved and
restless. It was like a constant grinding and gnawing
within my soul-to-human relationship. I left it in Egypt
and came away feeling more at peace than I can ever
remember.
I
don’t want to get too mental about it, but I feel
that Egypt brought me into the actual skin-and-bones
realization that we have walked the earth, in both spirit
and human forms, many times. It’s one thing to
read about and talk about it, but when your toes are
in the very sand of the ancient times, it does something
deep within to remind one that we have indeed been here
before.
Yes,
we all had fun, took a lot of pictures, ate wonderfully-exotic
food and visited some of the most sacred sites on earth.
The days and nights were filled with laughter and tears
and an amazing bonding with Shaumbra from all parts
of the world. But the real value for me was my personal
experience, the experience that connected something
within me that couldn’t otherwise be connected
by just talking about it or thinking about it. To this
day, when I daydream about our trip to Egypt I immediately
feel “calming waters”…. my own spiritual
maturing and peacefulness as a result of the trip.
Better
Than Ever
We took what we learned during this past visit to Egypt
and put together a program that will be even more oriented
to Shaumbra for Feburary 2010. For instance, we reserved
the entire Nile river cruise boat for Shaumbra. We
had about half the boat this past trip and realized
it would be a “total Shaumbra” experience
for six days/nights on the Nile if we had the whole
boat to ourselves. We also upgraded the boat to the
very best that the Sonesta cruise line has to offer
– definitely top of the line.
We
also added an extra day to our stay at the Oberoi Hotel
Mena House in Cairo across from the Great Pyramid. It’s
one of the finest hotels in the world and we knew it
was important to spend more time in the shadow of the
pyramids while relaxing at the Mena House Hotel.
We’ll
also take a chartered jet between Cairo-Aswan and Luxor-Cairo.
The jet is all ours, so this will save a lot of time
and hassle at the airports, with luggage and other traveling
logistics that can take the fun out the day.
Like
the last trip, we’ll have private time in the
King’s Chamber of the Great Pyramid and the paws
the Sphinx. It’s almost impossible to get private
time in any of the sacred sites these days, but Vanda
Osmond with Joy Travel has amazing connections and was
able to pull it off again for the 2010 trip. We added
several new sites to our list of tours, and as always
Vanda knows how to get us into places other tourists
can’t go.
Sacred
Sounds in Egypt
And
here’s the big addition that Linda and I are thrilled
to present: We’ve invited Anders Holte and Cacina
Spaeth to join us for the tour! Anders and Cacina will
guide us with sacred toning each day, helping to prepare
us for toning in the sacred sites. Knowing about the
acoustics in the King’s Chamber and other sites,
I know this beautiful sound will help awaken our consciousness
at the deepest levels, along with “other”
energies still locked within the pyramids.
Anders
and Cacina have also offered to sing and play music
for us in the evenings to add to the joy of the event.
Sound
has been one of the main pillars in the Mystery Schools
throughout time. In Ancient Egypt it was an integral
part of what was called "Sacred Science" at
the time. Sound was used for re-arranging physicality
such as in building large structures, for transportation
and for opening up to other dimensions. Today, using
conscious sound/toning together we can reconnect with
those dimensions.
Anders
and Cacina will start each morning with a sound/toning
session to which we can open and tune for the day. Along
with Norma's breathing, this will keep us inter-dimensionally-aware
as we go out to experience the ancient, sacred sites.
In addition to the practical daily group toning sessions,
Anders and Cacina will offer "A Time To Remember"
- a number of sound explorations in the form of short
talks about sound, focusing on themes such as:
- The conscious use of sound (audible and inaudible)
- Sound & focused passion
- The sound that creates worlds
- The use of sound to lock or unlock information
- Interdimensional sound journeys
According to Anders, “As I read your description
of how your (Tobias') voice resonated inside the King's
Chamber it gave me chills, because with my knowledge
of acoustics, I can already ‘hear’ the sound
of the entire Shaumbra group toning together with conscious
focused intent. I hear the sound of our combined voices
vibrating through our bodies, amplified through the
structure of this ancient pyramid, accelerating the
awakening of our DNA, and beginning to unlock a knowingness
stored within us for so long. Tobias and Saint-Germain
have given information on some of these topics before.
This is a way of creating direct ‘hands-on’
personal experiences. I find the potential just absolutely
exhilarating.”
